DESCRIPTION:In celebration of America250, Pauline Haass Public Library and
  the Wisconsin Veterans Museum presents Wisconsin Ties to the American Rev
 olution.The years 2025 to 2033 mark the 250th anniversary of the War of In
 dependence. Victory over Britain made the territory of Wisconsin part of t
 he United States. Although Wisconsin was not a state at the time, and woul
 d not be until 1848, there came many descendants of the Revolutionary gene
 ration that later built the State of Wisconsin. This talk will explore tie
 s between Wisconsin and the revolutionary generation, including the 40-plu
 s veterans of that conflict buried in the state.Presented by Christopher L
